Go-Green Events has been working hard with several race directors to set up make up dates for over 20 different events in the US. Spanning almost 2 months the majority of these races have been canceled or postponed. So we want to offer the surrounding areas a chance to get out and run (while maintaining your Social Distance mind you!).
We have raised over $1500 in a few short hours for Prisma Health and after talking with some of their representatives they gave me a list of the major needs that some of the donations will go toward!
Prisma Health COVID-19 Response Fund: Contributions will fund the purchase of needed items such as personal protective equipment, community testing set-up, and other urgent initiatives.
Prisma Health CARE Fund: Donations will assist team members who are experiencing unexpected financial hardships that may include childcare, utility bills, loss of income due to missed work or other needs.
Prisma Health iVisit Fund: Help purchase iPads on rolling stands so hospital patients can connect with family and friends. Spearheaded by nurses and physicians who saw the need and secured startup funding.
ALL Donations and Registration Fees go directly to the Prisma Children’s Hospital to purchase respirators, masks, protective gear, and sanitation supplies.
